Here at Rocky Mountain Forest Products, we are honored to be your Colorado lumber supplier for the past 50 years. Starting from humble beginnings, Dennis Hoefer founded RMFP in 1974 as a fence installation company, and it quickly expanded to so much more. Today, we are grateful to be leading the industry in Colorado, thanks to our suppliers, contractors, homeowners, and employees who have all played a huge part in the success of RMFP.

There have been big changes from the original days of RMFP, but the mission has always remained the same: building relationships with small contractors and homeowners in Colorado. We are proud to support small contractors by supplying them with high-quality, mill-direct lumber at the best possible price. Our ‘Building Relationships’ motto is a dedication to a partnership between us, our suppliers, and our customers. We’re all trying to achieve something in this industry and it’s a lot easier when we all work together towards the same end goal.

Here at RMFP’s lumber yard, we don’t just sell products—we do much more than that! We love being involved in the community and building relationships with our contractors and homeowners who work with us day in and day out.
We’ve been in business as a wholesaler lumber yard for over 50 years and we work with contractors, homeowners, DIYers, and designers to provide the best quality product on the market at an affordable price. We have built relationships with over 2,500 contractors who have been around since day one, and still buy from us today. Since we buy most of our lumber directly from the mill, we can offer a wide range of products at a competitive price compared to the other guys in town. We specialize in decking, fencing, and siding, and the majority of contractors we work with are home builders, fence contractors, and deck installers. We will take the time to dive into each of these product sets with the types and brands covered under each of them.
